how to Create a Cloud Drive

So-called "cloud-based" computing services provide a safeguard for your important files in the event your PC is broken or you lose your Internet connection. The files are always available on the Internet. Cloud-based storage also can be mounted as a local drive, making it look like you have additional hard drives on your PC.

Instructions

  1. Once you have subscribed to your cloud-based backup service, download and install the Gladinet cloud client.
  2. Choose your cloud service from the Gladinet "Virtual Directory Manager."
  3. Provide your user name and password for the cloud service. Once the information for your cloud service has been registered, the virtual storage space will be available on your PC and is mapped to a local drive via the Gladinet client.
